A Chappan Bhog Pichwai from Claome was presented to the Prime Minister in the presence of Raveena Tandon. For me, it was much bigger than a photograph or a milestone it was seeing a traditional Indian art form enter one of the highest offices in the country.

Working with Vikas made sense to me because his work, in a completely different medium, carries so much of India with it.
The conversation felt less about art or food separately and more about memory, culture, family and the things we choose to preserve.
Those are the conversations I remember most when Claome becomes a starting point for talking about something much larger than the artwork itself.

What does the universe look like according to Jain philosophy?
For centuries, artists have answered that question through intricate maps, cosmic forms, mandalas and sacred diagrams from Lokapurusha and Jambudweep to Siddhachakra and divine figures.

AD DESIGN SHOW, MUMBAI
For the AD Design Show in Mumbai, Claome presented a focused selection of Deccan works, highlighting a tradition known for its layered surfaces, detailed preparation and distinctive visual language.
The presentation placed Deccan painting within a contemporary collecting context, while retaining the depth, materiality and historical character that define the form.

Claome’s Dubai presentation brought together a selection of Indian art, Pichwai and sacred narratives for an international audience.
The viewing reflected Claome’s wider vision of taking Indian art beyond India introducing collectors to works rooted in tradition, symbolism and craftsmanship while placing them within a global collecting context.

At The Aralias, Claome presented Indian art within a residential setting, exploring the relationship between art, architecture and the way we live with meaningful objects.

The Collectors' Cove 2026
At Collectors’ Cove, Mumbai, Claome introduced The Family Legacy Collection- a body of Indian art conceived around the idea of works that can live within a family, gather meaning over time, and be passed on to future generations.
The presentation brought together large-scale Pichwai, sacred narratives and significant compositions including the Ramayan, Vishwaroop and Dashavatar, reflecting Claome’s focus on Indian art as something to be collected, lived with and carried forward.
